As an LPN at U R ROYALTY Medspa, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to patients seeking cosmetic treatments. You will work closely with the providers, as well as other members of the team to deliver exceptional services and ensure patient satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include patient assessment, consultations, performing and assisting in procedures, patient education, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for placing IVs and giving vitamins and medications. Must be proficient in IV placement.
- Patient Assessment and Preparation
- Perform initial patient assessments and evaluation of specific cosmetic concerns.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort.
- Assist with the completion of consent forms and other necessary documentation.
- Procedure Assistance/Performance:
- Collaborate with PROVIDER during cosmetic procedures, injections, and other non-surgical interventions.
- Prepare the treatment area, ensuring proper sterilization and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Provide support during procedures, including assisting with equipment and instrument setup, wound care, and managing patient discomfort.
- Performing procedures you are qualified to perform.
- Patient Education and Support:
- Educate patients on pre-and post-procedure care, potential side effects, and expected outcomes.
- Answer patient questions regarding treatment options, skincare routines, and recommended products.
- Offer emotional support and address patient concerns, ensuring a positive and empathetic experience.
- Documentation and Administrative Tasks:
- Accurately document patient information, medical history, treatments performed, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Coordinate scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups, and treatment plans.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering medical supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- Follow up with leads and consultation appointments.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste and hazardous materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new procedures, and cosmetic dermatology advancements through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Valid license in Texas.
- Previous experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or cosmetic practice is preferred.
- Medspa: 1 year (Preferred)
- Aesthetic treatments: 1 year (Preferred)
- Esthetic laser treatments: 1 year (Preferred)
- Knowledge of cosmetic dermatology procedures, treatments, and skincare products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail for accurate documentation and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cypress, Texas: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
